The Australian and New Zealand Optical Society offers several prizes in recognition of members' achievements.

The ANZOS Awards run annually and are an excellent opportunity for our members to showcase their outstanding contributions and be recognized for their exceptional work. Nominations for each prize application or nomination open mid-year. There are a range of prizes and awards for members at all different stages of their professional careers, therefore we encourage all our members to look at the awards on offer and consider applying. All applications and nominations are to be forwarded directly to the ANZOS email and can be addressed to the applications and nominations to the ANZOS Secretary.

The Wanda Henry Prize is awarded at the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics meeting for the best student paper.

ANZOS awards Life Membership to a small number of members who have made sustained contributions to optics throughout their career.
