The University of Sydney are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Level A) to join a new research initiative within School of Physics. This role specifically will be conducting research into the dynamics of radiation sails that are being propelled by a stationary laser beam, publishing the results of this research in journals and internal reports, and at conferences and other suitable venues. The role will require carrying out scientific research and preparing and presenting scientific results in papers and conferences, co-supervising undergraduate and graduate research students, assisting in the recruitment of research students and continuously working towards attracting new funding. Additionally, you will help to coordinate the research of different researchers.
